I recently got married in Zihuatanejo and I would recommend the location to anybody thinking of doing a destination wedding. My family absolutely loved the town, the people, the food, the views.. you name it. We got married at Tentaciones and had a welcome party at La Perla. We visited dozens of hotels during a planning trip, and spent 3 weeks down there for the wedding, so I have a lot of good info! I have to say I am very relieved to not be planning anymore, and I feel for brides in the process of trying to find information, make contacts and plan a wedding from so far away. Hi there, Since I'm "newbie," here's a little intro: My name is Jessica Carlson and I'm planning a small-ish wedding in Zihuatanejo next October. Don't have a date yet, but we are heading down to Mexico next weekend to scope out some locales. We're looking at a lot of places, including La Perla, Brisas del Mar, Amuleto, Tentaciones, La Quinta Troppo, Hotel Cinco Sentidos, etc. I'm interested in hearing more about wedding planning in Zihua and getting some great tips and recommendations!
