I live in PA & got married in T&C but when I got back & called our County Clerk they informed me we didn't need to do anything.  To change everything over we just showed our T&C marriage license.

We got married @ a Beaches (sister of Sandals) on T&C, all their packages are similar.  The cheapest island to usually visit in the Caribbean is Jamaica (travel purposes - flights are cheaper).  Our wedding was in May and it was about 88 every day with absolutely no rain.  We used a TA which can help you figure out costs & which resort has the amenities you are best looking for.

The photos are beautiful!

Customs issue is mainly because of bringing different bugs into the country. I have seen some really pretty real touch flowers but because I love real flowers I opted to go that route. It's definitely just personal preference.

I didn't like how the white looked against my ivory dress but you can get purple ones too but those are the only 2 colors they offer. The roses were extra but I can't remember the price (maybe $300) but I thought they were worth it...I kept them in our ice container in the room with water until the day we left : )

Kendall, Flying out of Harrisburg is ridiculous pricing...my parents paid the extra money because they didn't want a long drive but Jeremiah & I just stayed with my brother in Philly & he drove us to the airport and kept our car at his place to save us parking money. Baltimore was definitely higher than Philly for tickets when we went, not sure why since we flew Delta & they all go to Atlanta ha!

Kelly I think flew out of Newark and she got a good price as well.

That's awesome that they got a good deal! We got married in May & booked our flights in February & they were $475 our of Philly.

I upgraded to the roses...

The first picture is the BB flowers (on the table) which I asked for in white.

These were my roses which were gorgeous I just wish you could take them home but I heard some horror stories with customs so I didn't even try. (The starfish I put in the bouquet).

My husband and the "guys" went on a fishing excursion the day before our wedding. The rules were...you must be back by 1:30 so you can get ready for photos and reherseal. They left @ 7 and got back at 1. It also left me to spend time with the "girls" by going shopping, lounging at the beach & going to the spa for hair/makeup.

Hey Michelle! I would definitely see about getting your money back from your TA & finding one that can answer your questions correctly. This made all the difference in the world when I did my booking, etc...

Oh Nikki, I am so sorry for your loss.

You guys are all so young! I'll be 34 at the end of July and so feeling my clock ticking. J and I stopped "preventing" a baby but who know what will happen...we've been together 5 years, own a home & feel pretty settled but some days we look at our friends with kids and think...so glad that's not us, we have freedom! So, whatever happens, happens is our thought : )

Hi Michelle! We got married in May & our government fees were included with our room/wedding cost (free wedding with the conceirge). We actually looked at April as well but it was so pricy we moved it to the beginning of May...the Luxury Honeymoon Suite was originally what we booked for $4500 for 8 nights, our TA got us a room upgrade so that wasn't the actual room we stayed in. If you have some flexibility in your dates you might want to look at a week or two ahead/behind your original date for pricing. As for the resort, your daughter will have a blast! There is so much to do there for kids. I would definitely go to T&C again to get married and at Beaches! We are even looking at visiting other resorts because all-inclusive was just so much fun and a great option. Feel free to pm me if you have questions.

We actually had 10 people (including us) so we were originally going to just eat dinner @ the restaurant & upgrade to the cocktail hour but when we got there we decided it would be really nice to have everyone just together without noise & other people around. So we did the 2 hour reception dinner which was very nice and a great location overlooking the beach but even without it I think the restaurants are so nice it just depends on what you want. We did our rehersal dinner @ Marios and had a great time. Good luck with your planning!

Hey Gang! So, we are getting close to 2 month anniversaries! I can't believe how time seems to fly. Shannon your pictures are beautiful. We got our pictures & it was so much fun looking at them and we just got our first album proof so we are so excited! Right now we are preparing for our 3rd little nephew to join the mix at the end of July. We are having my dad's 60th birthday party in a few weeks. Work has been crazy but hopefully will die down a bit in July because of vacations.

I agree with Kelly, Rev Howell did our wedding & he read right from the pages I brought which was nice...the funny thing is I put my full name in the vows (Christina) but my hubby told the Rev to call me Chrissy throughout the ceremony, made us both laugh a little the first time he did it.
