Thanks NSimpson and TLC4Rock. I have been in contact with the jellyfish restaurant as it does look very nice. They have sent me brochure and menu and its sounds great and has great reviews. Hi Bella30 I thought that was a lot of money so I emailed Carolina the wedding co-ordinator to check thats what the cost is, and what you get for the money. She replied and said the price was correct and there was no negotiating the price. for $60 pp you can have an a la carte meal or bbq on the beach, the bar is included in the price and so is decoration and lighting. The DJ service is an extra cost! Thats why we have decided to leave it, plus we have under 20 guests anyway. Just wondering what to do now?? Hi We are getting married in october at the grand palladium bavaro hotel. Has anyone who has been married in this hotel or any other hotel in punta cana got any suggestions what to do on the wedding night? We have 14 people in total for the wedding and we are not sure what to do on the evening? I think we are just going to go with the a la carte restaurant which will be sectioned off, but I am wondering if anyone has suggestions what to do after that? Does anyone know of anything we could book outside of the hotel? or boat hire? Thanks guys, hope you can help!!

Hi I am wondering if anyone can give any ideas for favours for men as I am completely stuck?? For the women I have fans, but not sure what to do for the men?? I thought about personalised shot glasses, but not sure. Hope you can help!! Thanks

Thanks everyone for being so positive! I am so looking forward to my wedding, it cant come quick enough! Any pics of weddings at this resort especially the beach reception/party would be much appreciated. :-)

Hi I am getting married at this hotel in October and after reading some of the reviews (about food and hotel) on trip advisor, I am worried that I might have chosen the wrong hotel?? I have read on the other threads about people planning their weddings at this hotel, but can anyone who has already been married at this hotel tell me about their experiences? I have 13 guests coming with me and I am a bit worried? I think I just need my mid putting to rest :-(

Also it will be a small party coming with me (12), does anyone have any suggestions to what I can do as evening reception? Also are you able to request a time for your wedding? My colour scheme is purple, I have seen some flowers that I lilke, do you think the co-ordinator would be able to match what i have seen? Hi everyone I'm Jane and I am a newbie to this forum. I have booked to get married next year, 8th October 2010! We have chosen to get married at the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort and Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Anyone that has any experiences of getting married in Dom Rep and especially this hotel please let me know. So excited!!! :-)
