The first three will be staying with Maui Ocean Breezes in their Swaying Ocean Studio (Maui Vacation Rentals owner direct, Haiku, Maui, Hawaii Vacation Home Rental, Maui Cottages ). I have read great reviews in Trip Advisor and was able to get it for $135/night + $55 cleaning fee. The fourth night we are camping on Haleakala Volacano. Hopefully we can get our permits and stuff while there. Nights 5 through 7 we are staying at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali which we were able to get for $179/night (+$25/night resort fee) through a friends and family discount (a friend is a chef with Westin in Edmonton). We are also renting a convertible for about $300 for the week. Breakdown: Wedding & Photographer -$1000 Nights 1-3 - $135x3+$55=$460 Night 4 - FREE (some small fees, but we'll skip them) Night 5-7 ($179+$25)x3=$612 Rental - $300 TOTAL = $2372+tax ~$2500 (some of the quotes above included tax) That leaves us $1500 for activities and food. Now for the fun part of the planning!" I just feel that paying an extra $100-$200/night to have strawberries delivered to your room and a free breakfast buffet is a ridiculous amount when my fiance will find it much more romantic to stroll the streets of this tropical paradise, popping into the first cafe that tickles our fancy.
