  1. First...I need to get to Cancun cuty 3 to 4 times during our stay. Unfortunately the company has the meetings in the City center. How far is it from the South Zone? to the North Zone as I assume you go in that direction to get to the city centre.... Most important is to have a nice beach, is there a difference in the beaches between the 2 zones? I know Playa Del Carmen is nice from reading other people's opinion, but it is probably to far to get to if I have to be there 4 times. Thanks....
  2. Does anyone have opinions between the 2 areas? Such as the beaches, restaurants, shopping. Is one sector more tranquil ad quieter with the partying? We are just there to relax after the wedding. And I suppose the downtown is futher in one diection to the other...though that does not matter. First time going there...looking forward to it!!! Thanks
  3. My ex wife and I sperated and then applied for a divorcein 2007. But I did not get my Divorce Certificate till January 11 2009. Does anyone know of places in Mexico or Dominican Republic where I can still remarry even though my Certificate is under 1 year? From what I understand....in mexico different states have different rules, but I know Cancun is 1 year. Thanks
  4. Sorry....Just to add on I meant notorized, translated to spanish, then to the Mexican Embassy in Canada to be stamped. With all these documents. Thanks
  5. When we get married in Cancun, can I do all the documents without having to go to the Mexican Embassy in Canada? Some places say you have to have the apostille, divorce paper, passport and a letter stating you are legal to marry...And send it to the Mexican embassy or Consulate before you arrive to mexico.... I prefer to have it all done in Cancun if it is possible but no one knows the answer. Thanks again if you know anything....I appriciate all the help
  6. We are getting married and making it very simple because we want it to be quiet. Basically we are eloping. We do not want anything from it....Just a Legal marriage. Can anyone offer what needs to be done prior to arriving in Cancun? Such as documents, or do we need permission from the Mexican embassy in Canada or U.S.? I know in the Dominican Republic does. But for us the most important is for it to be legal, there and here in Canada.....I am familiar with blood tests and a couple other basic things. But I think a wedding planner is another option but we do not want it at the resort we are staying. So if you know of and good planners outside the resorts....It will be helpful too... Sorry for all the questions Thanks everyone
