The paper work that the priest emailed me said that as long as it's not on the beach and in a respectful location you can have it anywhere. Now if your question is you want to get married in a catholic church that is a much longer and complicated issue. The hotel has to coordinate dates and payments with the church. That is a church requirement. Most wedding coordinators are LAZY especially Dreams Punta Cana coordinator Sharron Pitches and Dreams Palm Beach coordinator Melani Mena (Yes I named names). So figure out if you want it on the resort or off the resort in a church. Also, I'm not sure if you have been getting replies to your question off the message board but this is for the people who post the well wishes. The well wishes are nice but when people have questions they are useless. Let me know if you are considering an off resort wedding because I have more info and all the contacts for the churches and bus companies. I am still fighting with several resorts to get them to actually do some work. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated! I am currently communicating with Palladium Bavaro with the intent on using their facilities (Gazebo) for the catholic ceremony. I feel it may be too hard to transport all the guests to a nearby church and would love the 'openness' of a Gazebo. I also am having some difficulties getting responses. I sent some emails over a week ago and have slowly started to get responses. Are you planning on doing it at a resort or a church? Thanks again...

This was a confusing point for me as I do NOT plan on getting married in my home country (Canada) prior going to the Dominican, based on your message I assume you are doing the same? When you are talking about a catholic ceremony in the gazebo, would this be the new Gazebo just built? Also what are the extra charges for a Catholic wedding as I know its more expensive. Thank You -Chris
  3. Anybody have a price list for a Grand Palladium wedding. Thanks for everybody's input but i see differing prices :S Is it 50 or 60 per head for the beach reception? Also does the private bartender cost include drinks or are they charged separately. Also, CaribbeanLove, pics received....thanks again! Thanks!

Or, you can get married at Home with your priest and then go to DR and do a symbloic wedding (cheaper) PM Sent... Thanks, -Chris
  5. Thanks for the responses ^ Does anybody have pictures / opinions on the beach reception, does dinner get served on the beach too? Also was there a price list posted anywhere on these forums? I am trying to get a hold of the wedding planner but am having no luck! The major stumbling point would be if they could do a catholic ceremony at the Gazebo.... Thank You! -Chris
  6. Hello All, Does anybody know where the new Gazebo is located in the complex (as I know there are 3 resorts interconnected). Also can you have a Catholic ceremony in the Gazebo?
