We actually had them custom made from a butterick pattern (B5492) we found at our local craft store. They were cheaper than any designer plus I got the color I wanted while the girls got the 10-in-1 dress design they wanted.

We had a live musician for the ceremony so we didn't need a DJ for that. If I didn't have a guitarist I totally would have booked Bijan. Drop him an email and ask him. He is really flexible and listens well. During our reception he was able to put in a Metallica song for my husband and still keep the party going.

Just got back from our wedding and I thought I would follow up on this thread. Yazmin was AMAZING! I am so glad we booked her. She made everything come to life just like I had envisioned. All our guests said our wedding was like something right out of a fantasy.

Just got back from our wedding an Bijan was great. He kept the party going and all our family comment on what a great DJ he was. The only thing that you need to be specific about is what things you want announced and what things you don't. Other than that he ROCKED!

I couldn't seem to find a way to leave a review in the wedding vendors section so I thought I would put it here. We got married on Dec 14 at Al Ceilo and Yazmin was our coordinator. I seriously can't say enough good things about Yazmin and her assistant Marcela. They went above and beyond anything I would have even dreamed. Every idea I had they brought to life exactly as I wanted. They even thought of somethings that I didn't like rose petals for throwing as we walked out. And on our wedding day everything went along like clockwork because of them. If there were any issues I never knew about them. All of our family and friends told it was like something right out of a fantasy. Hiring Yazmin was one of the best things we ever did for our wedding. Worth every penny and more!

Hi Ladies, I would love have everyone release a sky lantern at the end of the night but we can't buy them ahead and then take them on the plane. I was wondering if anyone is thinking about using sky lanterns? Are you buying them there and if so from where? Thanks!!

I am wondering if any of you have seen the Kool beach club or the Blue Parrot's VIP terrace and could give us some first hand? We really like both from the photos but would like to hear the pros and cons of each location. Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

No luck yet. Started to lean towards the blue parrot but after reading some awful reviews of padding the # of drinks on a bill, to pick pocket problems, to noise issues I am thinking probably not. Do you have any pics of the one are looking at? What is the pricing like?

I think we are going to. I have yet to find anyone better. I would feel better if I could talk to some brides who have used her. The brides on here who have don't seem to be responding to PM's.

Hi, We are trying to find a restaurant in Playa Del Carmen on the beach to hold our wedding reception of about 25 people. We would love an open air palapa with great food and awesome decor that is private and we can rent it out. Any suggestions? =)

Hi, We have been working with our travel agent and I think we narrowed it down to three; Grand Palladium, Barcelo Maya Palace, Iberostar Parisio Maya. I have been able to find a ton of information about the Grand Palladium and am trying to get a comparison of the other in the following areas: 1.) Quality of the food 2.) Ambiance/Atmosphere of the resort 3.) Are the rooms nice? 4.) Types of daytime activities 5.) How do the evening shows compare 6.) How private are the weddings on the beach? 7.) Are the receptions in a private area and what are the like? I would love to hear how you think the three compare.
