    I just have to chime in! The church at the Royal is amazingly beautiful! I'm looking at getting married there in July of 2010. Everyone I show the pictures can't believe there is a glass church on the water. Also, the wedding packages as far as ceremony and reception are concerned are VERY reasonable as far as cost it concerned.

    Hello, I have also been looking into both properties for my upcoming July 2010 wedding. It looks like I am moving forward with the Royal Cancun because they have Catholic ceremonies available and the site for the ceremony is breathtaking….if this were available at the Royal Playa Del Carmen then I would definitely have chosen Playa. From what I hear Playa is a little more romantic than Cancun so I think we will be moving to Playa for the honeymoon. Have you had any luck with making a decision yet?

    Hey Ladies! Well after much research it looks like we may decide on the Royal Cancun. Does anyone one have pictures from their ceremony/reception there?
