Does anyone know of any other places to have a reception besides at the resort?? Im wondering if it would be cheaper to find a place outside the resort... Its almost 90 per person at the resort so IM just thinking that there should be something else cheaper for us.. If anyone has any suggestions,, please let me know!! Thanks

Hi Megan,, I was also thinking about that option too but Im just going to wait and see how many people end up going.. I agree with having less than 15 people it might be a good idea to do something small and have dinner at a reserved area and then just go dancing at the resort.. But it all depends on the amount of people going.. My thoughts are if people are flying all that way,, we should give them a great day to enjoy.. THings are just adding up really quickly.. Whoever said DW are cheap,, noway!!! So was your plan to go with the free wedding and just add extras?? I keep going back and fourth with the packages.. Does anyone have any adive on any of this Thanks!!!

Great news on the photographers!! Does anyone know the names of the photographers that are allowed.. Claudia is not open on my date so I was going to use Cecilia Dumas.. Any word on her?? I sent Ana an email but we all know how long that can take for her to get to us.. Has anyone else had a real contract yet?? She keeps saying that my date is on hold and she will get back to me with the wedding details.. This makes me so nervous!!!

Hello DRC Brides!! Im new to the forum and loving all the info!! I would love to have our wedding at the new DRC but before we confirm our date,, I was wondering if anyone has heard about if having an outside photograhper is allowed at the resort?? Im so confused about this because I was told by antoher bride on FB that you can have one but then Ana emailed me the other day saying they dont allow outside photographers.. If anyone has any feedback on this, I would love to hear it : ) I really love this resort and it looks like its going to be amazing but I really wanted to have an outside photographer!!!
