Hello another newbie here! My partner and I are planning to Wed in May 2010. After much research we decided on Maya Luna in Tulum. After Liaising with the hotel and wedding planner we come to realise that it’s a bit more expensive than we expected. I had hoped that my family and friends would stay at the hotel with us but as its cheaper to get a package with flights...my family will probably be staying elsewhere. If we don’t fill 80% of the hotels rooms we will have to pay $1600 restaurant hire fee rather than $900. I’m starting to question whether Maya Luna is the right place for us, however my Partner disagrees. I have started to get a bit stressed about this and feel like my head is spinning. All I want is a nice stress free chilled Bohemian wedding on the beach with a BBQ and already I feel like the veins are popping out of my head!!!
