  1. Just wanted to clarify: If you are doing a private reception in the Grand Azul or La Laguna and have less than 100 people attending; the largest table they have in rounds is for 7 people. If you are having more than 100 people attending, and / or hosting the private reception on the beach, then the resort has to bring in private table rentals. This is where you are able to having the larger tables.

I'll also put a post on Palladium addict about it, cause I've been having problems getting onto this site to reply to you!
  4. Does anyone know if the resort has a projector and screen so we can do a photo slideshow? We have booked a private reception in the grand azul. I've been waiting from my response from Rocio for a few weeks now, so I thought I would check here! Thanks

I thought it was 4, and then I just saw a website that called it a 5? Just wanted to include that info in my info package I will be sending out in a couple of months. Just emailed Claudia Rodriguez photography to try to book her for my wedding! I hope she's available! If Claudia is booked (which she was for mine), you should try moments that matter photography. They are canadians who moved down to mexico, so far they have been great, and the pictures are similar to that of Claudia. Cheers, Angela

Rocio has been great with resonding to emails & updating our file! Great experience! Our only issue has been our beach pants didn't come in for the groom & groomsmen. They are a playa pant from undergear.com. Do you or anyone know if you can buy nice beach pants for guys down there?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers Hi Christina, I got the my FH and his best man and my dad thier pants at Tommy Bahama's, I was lucky and got everything for 50% off at the end of the summer. They have nice linen type beach pants and carry those styles year round.

You still need to pay for the photographer to come on site just like any other visitors. It will be $120 US per photographer per day. What my photographer suggested that its actually cheaper to book them a room for one night, so that is what we are doing. I have a question for anyone who is having a private reception, is there a minimum # of people required? I know if you have more then 40, you must have a private reception but what if you don't have 40? Can I still do it? I don't think there is a minimum number, but the price per plate for dinner may change depending on your number. We have about 30 -35 people planned for dinner, and the menu ranges from $50 - 60 per person.

After many long hours wanting to pull my hair out! I have a travel agent that if we hadn't already paid our deposit I would have gotten rid of that was contributing to the problem. We are travelling out of Vancouver, CA on April 15 and staying for the 7 days in the Royal Yucatan Suites. Rocio at GP is amazing, takes a while to get back to you, but in the end is very detailed. Let me know if you have any questions about the resort, we were engaged at the resort last April....can't wait to go back!
  9. The $20 pp is for the ceremony, the receptions I believe can only be held privately in the Grand Azul or La Laguna. I have the menu pricing and it ranges from $50 - $60 US per person.
  10. Congrats! Me and my FH also were engaged at this resort in April, and will be getting married exactly 1 year to the date he proposed. Be patient with Rocio, she takes awhile to get back to you. But I'm told she does an amazing job once on resort!!
  11. Hi Everyone! We are getting married on April 19, 2010 at the Grand Palladium Resort in the Mayan Riviera. It seems like it is a million light years away!
