OMG they're amazing!!! love the idea of painting the boxes too...hope they all appreciated them! Well done you, you must be so proud of yourself!!

The hotel is lovely, the beach was beautiful and the seaweed isn't that big a deal unless your a total wuss. The food was just fine. Zacolo -the mexican restaurant was great and so was the Siena -Italian. Didn't love Zavas terrace, but they were the kitchen that prepared our wedding dinner and it was fantastic -we had the steak and lobster tail. We totally loved Le Chique and went back for the 14 course meal on our last night (it did cost extra). Las Tapas we wouldn't bother going to again, it was a disappointment. Our room was the honeymoon suite and was gorgeous. The wedding planners on site were fantastic, we brought our own table runners, pashmina's, feather, lanterns, tea lights, mirrored tea light holders, etc.... we paid them $150 in cash and they set everything up, accommodated for the wind and we loved what they did. I'm sure you are really struggling at the moment, but please don't forget we are all here for you if you need us (as well as your husband). I'm just so pleased for you that he made it to your wedding and you have those memories (and photos) that will last with you forever. The biggest and hugest hugs. xx

I am a bit of a picture whore! I dont have any new info to share but let me tell you this has NOT been easy!! Ana's been the easiest part, excited to finally meet her. Family drama, family drama, family drama, reception plans and a bum travel agent. The only thing I want to say is: DO WHAT YOU WANT! People will complain either way!! I love my fiance SO MUCH and that's what matters. On our special day, on the beach, I'm not a bit nervous to say, "I do", and know I made the right choice. Best of luck to all you beautiful Brides, and I'll post again when I get back! 2 MORE SLEEPS!! I hear ya!! lol we had the same dramas with family and friends...we phoned round everyone before we even started looking and asked 'if we get married in Mexico would you come?' so we knew if it was an option or not. everyone said yes...until it came to booking and asking for their money (we booked everyone on the same booking)...then we had all the dramas and the 'why don't you get married somewhere in Europe where its closer for people'.....BECAUSE WE DONT WANT TO GET MARRIED THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! haha but it's all booked now and I don't care...it's what me and future hubby want, so that's what we're doing If you don't get a chance to come on again before you leave....have an amazing day, I'm sure you'll look beautiful and it will all work out just perfect! Can't wait to see your pictures!!! xxx

The designer of my dress bought me any shoes I wanted in the bridal store and I'm still looking for more shoes even though he's making the dress length to them, I need to stop. That is SO cute what your dad said! Ok ladies, good idea, let's say a maximum of 3 items over two weeks just to keep the stress level down and if you get more done, bonus! Check in with us here when you've completed your items and what they are with pictures too if you like. I can make a update of who is getting what do so we don't forget and that way you'll see your progress as well! I will do a new list every other Friday, so we'll start tomorrow, here's what my 3 things are to do/get done: #1 -Finish wording on invites and get info over to Ana #2 -Pay deposit to DJ #3 - Go to Banana Republic on Sunday to look for groom attire #4 - Go to fabric district and pick up supplies for facsinators and jewelry (already planned) HAHAHAHAHA Amy you crack me up!!! you've just come up with a fab idea and then you suggest to coordinate everyone's together - stop making work for yourself lol (hehe!!)

  11. Andrea.... that's lovely about what your dad said ) and how exciting about your shoes!! i ordered a pair on Saturday so just waiting for them to arrive...I don't know if they are 'the ones' but I'll let you know when they get here!! Amy F.... FAB FAB FAB idea! us talking about our running and workouts has really helped me so doing the same with to-do lists will probably be a good thing for me too. and 2 weeks is probably better so people can maintain focus. (god I feel like I'm writing a proposal at work now!! lol) if people are feeling lazy and don't want to write them out, we could use our siggys...then when we post people can send comments checking where we're up to!! (i know that's going to sounds strange to some people, but having people telling me what to do - even if they're telling me something I've told them to tell me lol - really helps!) Amy (bermuda).... love the place cards! what a great idea!! do you know where you're going to get all the bits from?

Now when I go home I can get them developed some in black and white, some in color. I recommend using the resorts photograper, only because you know you can trust them to not only do a good job but also show up! I have set up a meeting with them when I get to the resort to negotiate on the current package I have and also plan certian poses, locations etc. Good luck and I'm sure your day will be GORGEOUS! 6 DAYS UNTIL I LEAVE!! hey Lin, What's the name/company name for the onsite photographer? We asked for more information but was only sent the package prices and not any names so we can look up their work so it would be really great if you could let me know that Thanks.....only 5 DAYS now!!!!!!!!!!!

It was raining the day of the wedding (off and on) so we couldn't have it on the beach. The WC was inisisting that we have it in a freakin hallway of one of the buildings..... luckily my photogs found a better spot and fought them to the bitter end on it. We won I didn't do a private reception but my dinner was amazing. I was impressed the MOST about the dinner. Because we were such a small group they allowed us to have it at the Siena rather than Spoons. It was amazing! Honestly, the resort is beautiful..... I had an amazing time with my friends and family. I'll try to get on my review ASAP, I'm just swamped with work right now . Reality sucks after being waited on all week lol!! Welcome back!!!! so glad you had an amazing time can't wait for all your views on it and your pics!!! congratulations mrs!!

Now that you've started, you've got past the hardest part (in my opinion) I'm starting my 3rd Insanity workout tonight and I feel better already even though I'm in a lot of pain, it's good pain. Amy - That's such a cute idea!! Can't wait to see how it looks AmyB - Super cute! So the dress already looked a little goddess like or did you change it up? Very cute idea! Lindz - Just added you!!! I wish I had done something cute to ask my bridesmaids, I asked them the dumbest ways possible... my BFF who I was her Maid of Honor, kept jokingly bugging me about who my Matron of Honor was going to be one night and I told her I planned on doing it in a cute way but since she was so impatient she might as well know! My Maid of Honor I did right, took her out to lunch on a fun day of shopping and asked her in a really cute way, she LITERALLY burst into tears on the spot which made me start tearing up and then we both realized that Meatloaf -"I would do anything for love" was playing and the both burst into laughter The rest of them, honestly, doing tequila shots at home with friends and text messaged 2 of them lots of gooey words, the last I asked in person. Whoa sorry for the story, I just love your idea! arrrrggggghhhh your siggy says '6 months 4 weeks 1 day'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PANIC!!! oh no, don't....breathe.... lol thanks for the support with the running as well - so far (yes, a WHOLE week!!!) coming on here and telling you all all about it has been the best incentive to keep it up! but goddamn is it getting cold over here in the evenings now!! I should be ok for about 3 weeks before the coldness makes it more painful to breathe when running...but I've already decided I'm going to battle through that - not having anything as an excuse to stop what I've started. I just asked my BMs - my MOH has been my bestest friend since I was 13 so that kinda was a given anyway, but I still specifically asked her, and my other BM I called her up and asked her over the phone I was pleased with myself until I heard these ideas and now I wish I'd done something more memorable!!
