Hi Nyssa Just to start off your pictures are so beautiful, you looked stunning. Thank You so much for your in depth review as well, it we be very helpful to all Gran bahia Principe brides to come. Just a quick question about your photos, you said that they cost $1500us, was that on top of the 1350 for the wedding? And if so did the wedding pkg come with pictures? I am just in the beginning stages of planning our wedding for January 2010, and I am having trouble picking between the gran bahia principe, and the riu santa fe in los cobos. They are both beautiful resorts and the reviews on both seem to be great. I am just narrowing it down to what each resort has to offer in terms of the actual wedding pkg.

Hi my name is Melissa, and I am just in the beginning stages of planning our wedding for the second time. We were booked in at the Barcelo Maya Beach resort back in 2005. Are wedding was scheduled for Nov 22,2005, but due to hurricane wilma the wedding was cancelled two weeks before we were all to leave. We were going to reschedule for the spring of 2006, but we found out that we were expecting our first child that summer. It's been a few years and we are now ready to begin this for the second time around. We have it narrowed down to two resorts, one is the Riu Santa Fe in los cobos, and the second is the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro in Punta Cana. Both resorts look beautiful and the quotes that we were given by our travel agent are about the same. We are planning the wedding for January 2010, so we will be making up our minds sometime this weekend. I have been looking over this forum for the past couple of weeks and I think it has amazing information for all brides to be. I hope to meet some great people through this process.
