Hi girls! We are leaving in a month for our 9/19/09 wedding! I was wondering if anyone needed their dress steamed before the ceremony? I emailed Anna and another resort has a steamer and they charge $30 to do it. I don't think I am comfortably leaving it in someone else's hands. Just wondering if anyone has done this and/or how it went. My dress is all satin. Any suggestions? Thanks- Brooke

bcbride - In the charges that Ana added to the invoice include a $185 charge for "speaker set-up" for both the ceremony and reception on the lobby terrace. And she added a $100 set up charge to set tables up for the reception. I think I am going to email her back and try to figure our why so much. Don't you think? I agree about "open bar",we are also just going to have everyone get drinks from the bar since it is so close. My haridresser/friend is coming to the wedding so she is doing my hair and make-up. Hi Girls - I just got a price quote from Ana for the "extras" that we are having for the wedding. I asked about setting up an ipod for the reception and she quoted me a $185 charge for the "set-up"? We are bringing the ipod, does anyone know if this is for the speakers or what? Anybody get a different quote? Thanks - Brooke

Thanks everyone for you pictures and comments! I am getting married here on 9/19/09 and starting to get a little nervous about planning something being so far away. For those of you that used the spa...Where you happy with the hair/make-up services? Did you take a picture with you or have a "trial" done? Also, as I am reading it looks like some of you made your final decisions when you got to the resort. What should be done ahead of time and what can be done when I get there, in regards to picking out flower arrangements, cake, etc? I will be there 3 nights in advance. Thanks! Brooke
