Hi Everyone - I saw this thread, and even though I don't have any questions for the forum anymore, and have never posted, I thought I would provide some information on my big day at EPC. I was married on 3/14/09, and had a wonderful experience. Leading up to the wedding, I was worried b/c I wasn't in regular communication with Ana Luisa and Lisbeth, but about 3 weeks out, things really started to pick up. I hadn't finalized the flower selection until we got there, and they were worried about the selection (sunflowers and daisies), as they'd never used them together, but their florist did an amazing job, and they turned out better than we imagined. Definitely didn't need to stress out as much as I was about all the details, especially with such beautiful scenery as a background for the wedding! We had about 20 guests, and selected the Gold Excellence Package, and received a discount due the room level we selected. We chose the 5 hour photography package, and received a discount, as some photography was included in the wedding package. My biggest concern was the photography, as I wasn't able to find a lot of photographs of actual Excellence PC weddings. Here's a link to all our wedding photos, which I hope are helpful in letting EPC brides see some of the diversity of places on the resort for photos: Snapfish: Share:Registration Francois was our photographer, and he was AMAZING!! He was moving so fast we were worried the photos wouldn't be great, but he has an amazing eye, and was very creative, while still be very sensitive to time (we took our couples photos before the wedding, and only had an hour to hit a bunch of spots around the resort). He definitely understood the candid and fun-loving attitude we were looking for in our photographs, but still included the more traditional shots as well. We were able to take a full album home with us (although they said it's pretty rare they can get it done so quickly), along with a slideshow set to music (which again, was very eclectic and fitting with our style), a DVD with all the photos, and a video of the ceremony. All in all, we were beyond happy with the Excellence experience, and I'm more than happy to provide answers to any questions you might have. Thanks to everyone for all the great posts! Hi Everyone - I am trying to understand how the civil ceremony works in the DR, and I've received a one page (large type) script of what the judge will read. We'd like to have a lot more included in our ceremony...after all, that's why everyone's coming to be with us! How do you handle additional parts to the ceremony if the judge will only be reading his script? Do you just have select guests officiate any other portions of the ceremony?
