hi, im getting married at the rprm in about a month and i seriously feel like i haven't done much to plan for it, but i guess thats how a destination wedding kind of is! i just hope everything comes together when we get there. anyways, YES, they do offer a cocktail hour after the ceremony. the wedding planner sent me this, "- Yes, we could arrange a non-private cocktail before dinner. This has no extra charge, we set-up a few tables for your group at the lobby bar and if you wish to add any appetizers during this time, we can do so at an additional cost. Please find enclosed the list of options." i attached the appetizer list they sent me, but i think it is strange that they make you pay for this at an all inclusive restaurant. im planning on doing the cocktail hour but maybe just with drinks and the trio will be playing as well. we are getting married at 4 and having the dinner at 7, so im hoping this will entertain the guests during the inbetween time. hope this helps! wonderful pictures, it looks like your wedding was beautiful. im getting married at the rprm on march 27th and i have a few questions for you if you dont mind. it looks like you had your reception at the chili's restaurant and i was told the trio could not play during the dinner but in your pictures it looks like they are playing. also what did you do during the time between the ceremony and the dinner? i see that you all did a first dance,,..did you do this in the lobby during the cocktail hour? oh and did you do any of your own decorating for the reception or were the tables all done by the resort? thank you for your help. kate <3
