  1. I am so happy I found this thread. I was so confused. Did not know what to decide on but we are going to stick to getting the legal ceremony out of the way before we go and the changing of the names after we get back. I believe it would be a less hassle and honestly, all those documents you need to make sure you have and the bloodwork that is required, is a little too much. Something less to take care of. The legal ceremony will be very minimal. We are treating the legal ceremony before as a legal requirement only and the ceremony in Playa will be the real deal.
  2. Sounds great. I'm in. 40 is good for me. If needed you can either take or add 5 just in case. But it sucks that they only sell it by the case and $300 min purchase. Let me know and keep us informed. Really interested though. Let me know.
  3. Thanks all. I'm excited
  4. Thank you Jessica and Tod. I hope all turns out great!
  5. HI. We will be getting married at PP as well. July 8, 2009 is our date. Ceremony at 6. Our wedding date falls on a Wednesday so hopefully there won't be as many other weddings going on that day because that does sound kind of chaotic. I don't think so though because we had originally set the time at 4 but then we switched it and it wasn't a problem at all. It seemed like all times were available. We have our wedding ceremony set and the group rooms have been set aside. Our Palace WC, Katherine, has been great. Every question we have asked her has been answered. Our WP at the resort has contacted us as well but we haven't responded yet. But Katherine has been on top of it all. The reason we choose PP is because we wanted a more intimate and smaller resort. PP only has about 209 rooms. Every other resort around is 500+. I really didn't like that. I, myself, am kind of stressing over the whole thing and questioning if PP will be the best place for our wedding. The reason we choose PP is because one of our good friends is a Palace member and she said it is a great resort. It is true, there is not that much info on the resort. TripAdvisor does have plenty of pics from previous travelers. As of today, don't know the exact # of attendees. We haven't yet set what kind of reception we will be having. We really do not want an indoor reception but depending on the # of guests that will be going we'll have to decide on that. But so far the response and the attentiveness of PP has been great. Would really like to get as much info on PP from previous brides if there are any...
