I am actually doing a Catholic Wedding in the DR in December. Although there was a lot of paperwork, there wasn't much more than would be required in the States. You need to hand it in 2 months before your wedding. I think there are a few extra letters needed from your parish priest, but it wasn't a big deal.

Hi Ladies! I wish I had found this forum a year ago. I'm just now starting to really get everything together for my wedding which is December 6, 2008, at the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana. The time really flew by and I realize I have a lot to do! Has anyone out there had a Catholic Wedding? Did you get your license on time?
