  1. OK I searched this forum and didn't find anything so here the foot questions come...

    1) If the groom and GM are wearing suits, do they wear flip flops? Doesn't that look funny?

    2) What do the guests wear? I know some people buy flip flops for their guests, but then what do they do with their other shoes to not look tacky and messy?

    3) What do the bridesmaids wear if they have a kind of formal right below the knee dress? I think it might look tacky for them to wear flip flops. I would presume that some people go barefoot but the sand is kind of rocky in Cabo and I would think that would hurt.

    Help!

  2. Im getting a quote from Mariana soon about how much it is to rent furniture. I think she said that there are chairs, but furniture is for a price. My only concern on the beach is that there is not shade and it may be too hot to do out there. I am debating between Oceana and the beach right now.

  3. So my Dad is pretty much paying for the wedding, but he says if it's proper not to put parents names on the invites, he would rather not because both of us have divorced parents and that puts our step parents in a weird position. I agree, but I don't want to not put their names if it is not proper. I have looked at wedding etiquette websites and they don't really address this specific issue. What do you guys think?

  4. I had a lot of problems with people complaining too. No matter where a destination is, people are going to complain. THe main thing is that you have to be OK with people not being able to go, especially in this economy. What I did was include a info. sheet with my STD cards that gave options for hotels. The truth is, the other hotels near Dreams are NOT that much cheaper and they are not all inclusive. THe guests have to be told and understand that ALL their meals and drinks are paid for. This is worth at least $300 in 3 days. But when my guests saw that the other hotel prices were similar but didn't include food and drinks, they understood Dreams was a good deal. As for the airfare, you have no control over that. Im sure people are coming from all over the US so there is no place that is close to every state, you know?

    Hope that helps!

  7. If they are staying at the hotel it's $56 a person for everything including dinner and drinks. If you want to do a higher dinner (better food) that price goes up a bit but not much. Im still not sure about the $89 for people not staying at Dreams. There is also a kid price which is 50% off for ages under 12. Hope that helps! Its a GREAT deal!!

  8. Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know of a great restaurant that was not on the restaurant list because it's brand new. It's called El Deseo and it's right on the Marina (the main strip in Cabo). It's on the modern side and has a great ambience. I didn't get to eat there, but my WC Maye said her husband (who is a chef) said the food is unbelievable. I am debating between there and Mi Casa. I have to get prices first and then I will let you guys know...but I'm leaning towards El Deseo.
