I think everyone's right. They give themselves a cushion. However, for your own peace of mind, can you have them quote you a date in writing that's within your time frame? I just ordered my BM dresses last weekend and they said 12 weeks. I also told them my wedding date was two weeks earlier than it is, so I would have a cushion! I got that tip from a previous bride

Could it have anything to do with the search engine you're using? I use Internet Explorer without any problems. I know on another site (totally unrelated to weddings) if I used mozilla Firefox I'd run into problems. i don't want to diss one or the other, because i have no idea, but just a guess...?

Have you tasted the food? I fell in love with the location, but we didn't have time to taste the food while we were there!

Hi Heather! We're having our reception at the Blue Parrot too- on 1/25/09 . Did you get to taste the food? We were there in May, but did not have time for a tasting- I'm hoping it's good (and even if it's average, the location is so beautiful, i think it will be fine)!

I'm getting married at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos, Mexico next January 25th, and am considering having the reception at the Blue Parrot in Playa del Carmen (we may have as many as 100 people, so having the reception not at the Paradisus will be more affordable). Any insights are most welcome!
