What does everyone think? We are going for 2 weeks so I think it'll cost a bomb

Forget it i just got a price to upgrade and there is NOOOOOOOO way i'm paying it
Is that a tower club jacuzzi jr suite you're upgrading to? I've been trying to decide that myself. I was thinking of doing it for just the couple nights immediately before and after the wedding... the prices just keep adding up!

thanks anyways! :-) If anyone does know how the legal ceremony goes, please post if you can!! It would be really helpful to have the template so I can see what things I can add (or take out! I agree, none of this "obey" stuff! lol)

does anyone have a copy of how the generic legal ceremony reads? I want to maybe not write my own ceremony, but at least throw in a few personal touches here and there, but it would be nice to see some sort of template??

oh yes, travel insurance is a must for this trip. I've heard it's not a bad idea to purchase wedding insurance as well... has anyone heard of this or done this?

Thanks so much! That is really helpful. I think I like the idea of having a jacuzzi on the balcony rather than 2 floors and no jacuzzi! And the jacuzzi junior suites are in the tower section aren't they? They must have an amazing view! The honeymoon suites seem to be in a lower building closer to where the gazebo is as far as I can tell from random pictures I've seen on tripadvisor, etc. Do you think the jacuzzi junior room is big enough to have all the bridesmaids in getting ready and dressing on the big day??
  6. I have a question for anyone married at Dream Cancun, or maybe have stayed there... What do you recommend in terms of accommodation for the bride and groom? We are trying to decide between the honeymoon suite or perhaps the jacuzzi junior suite... but having not seen pictures of either one, I have no idea. Anyone have an opinion regarding the pros/cons of either one?

  7. Well, so long as the resort and the WCs are able to effectively handle all the responsibilities and organization of having multiple weddings on one day WITHOUT compromising the quality of each wedding and the time/care spent on each wedding (and not "rush" each wedding!!), it doesn't matter in the end, it's still the perfect day :-)

ps: it's been almost 4 weeks now and I haven't received a confirmation of the wedding date I requested, nor have I received a contract... meanwhile I've sent 2 emails with gentle reminders (one to claudia and one to daniella)... trying EXTRA hard to be patient! smile105.gif

So you should be good, and just be patient.

Drop them an email later again if they don't get back to you like in other 2 weeks, I guess? Good luck!
Do they really do 2 weddings per day?? How is that even possible if you don't pick every detail til the day you have your meeting with the coordinator? I wonder what they do if both people want their wedding at the same time at the gazebo? Got an email back from Daniella (they switched it up on me, lol)...but she didn't exactly confirm my date, she just sent me wedding info I already knew...frustrating...
  9. Hi everyone! Stumbled upon this great forum full of great ladies willing to help each other out during this daunting process of getting a DW together! My name is Kerry, my fiance and I just got engaged before New Year's and we're hoping for an August 28, 2009 wedding (it's the date we met) at Dreams Cancun Resort (we met in Cancun of all places). I look forward to sharing and helping each other out along the way during this exciting process!
