He proposed to me while we were in Thailand, just after our 2 year anniversary. When we get married it will be a month shy of 3 years.

Do you think I could ask your opinion on wedding colors?? This has been my biggest stress, and I think I've got it. I know a beach wedding should be bright colors, and fun, but I can't seem to put one of my bridesmaids in a bright color. So, I went with the colors BLACK, WHITE, and accents of HOT PINK, and SILVER. Is this too scary?? My only concern with black was the pictures...and the possibility of getting dark....can anyone help me...or calm my fears??

I agree with the rooms not looking the nicest...but the rest of the resort is beautiful....Does anyone know if you have your reception in the garden (I believe that is on the grass, sort of by the gazebo) Do you have to have a dance floor put in??

Really...that really good to know. I know that if you wait longer on a type of sell off vacation website, it usually drops closer too the date. I really have to start thinking, that's for sure!!!

Ummm...I just got a quote from my TA, and she said it would be $2252/person for one week/all inclusive with airfare and taxes. Does this seem pretty reasonable? I was hoping it would be $2000 taxes and everything included. If I wait a little bit, do you think the price would drop??

So...I have a very general question about wedding colors. I have been stressing about it, more then anything else. Alright...I'm trying to figure out when to start booking with the Travel agent for the best rates for my guests. I'm a Feb.09 Dreams Cancun Bride, and the quotes I've received so far, seem a little pricey. What should I be expecting for this time of year....HELP!!

I'm in the same boat...I'm waiting for a couple reply's as well. It is very frustrating (I sympathize) I guess we just wait!! When are you planning your wedding??

Well...I'm super new too this all!! I'm a Dreams Cancun Bride to be!! Still waiting on a set date, but hopefully Feb.6/2009. Any advise that you guys have...pls help!! I've priced it all out, and it's more expensive then I had planned...but it seems totally worth it. The resort is amazing, and it has nothing but TOP reviews. Did any of you have problems getting more then 10 rooms for guests booked??

I'm super new too this whole thing as well...My fiance and I stayed at the Gran Bahia last year, and it was absolutely amazing. The people, the food, the resort...PERFECT!! It was actually where we wanted to get married, but it was just too expensive for the amount of people attending. I LOVED it there!!!

Hi everyone, I'm really excited to be apart of this. I've never posted on a forum, so please be kind!! I'm getting married in Feb. '09/hopefully at the Dreams Cancun. (I'm just waiting for some e-mails back) It's all very overwhelming, and definitely not as stress free as I imagined, but I still have plenty of time!!
