Hello all, my name is Carrie. I am currently planning a wedding at the brand new Valentin Imperial Maya in the Riveria Maya, Mexico. Nothing big, actually just the two of us. James and I have been engaged since before he deployed to Iraq on Sept. 11, 2006. We were planning on something here in Minneapolis where we are from but then I got orders to deploy so we are moving things up! We will be at the Valentin from May 5th through the 15th and can't wait. There is a certain amount of fun that comes with an elopement and with all of the stress that comes with getting ready to ship out on June 3rd, we both appreciate having the resort take care of all of the details!
With so little time before the wedding, I am posting this more for anyone that may have questions about the Valentin than I am looking for answers. The resort is very new, I am not even sure that anyone has yet even been married at this resort. I know I have not been able to find anyone and believe me- I have looked!
