Shame on me for not posting these sooner - life gets hectic after a long dreamy vacation and having to adjust again to the real world!
I uploaded my propics to kodakgallery because they were easier to share that way.
I went with Bradley Fraser - very price friendly and a personable photographer
Great nice guy, met with me the day before and was concerned about my wants and needs. He does specialize in candid photography but I did tell him I prefer a little more of the posed picture and he took that into consideration.
One thing I realized is that 4 hours was not enough, I was running late and was not able to get any solo shots of myself before the ceremony but its not that big of a deal- by the time he was ready to leave and came to say goodbye, I could not believe it was already time! we still had not cut the cake so I regretfully missed out on pro pics of that.
You will notice that he took a lot of pictures of my guests as they were getting there food in a buffet style setting, I would have rather had more pictures of my husband and I mingling instead. I dont really see a use for those pictures after the fact but maybe it was his way of making sure he captured shots of all of our guests. That is really the only critical thing I have to say about Bradley.
Bradley is overall a great guy, good pictures and fair prices - I would give him a B

You are a beautiful bride - your hair looked great, it didnt seem like there was any wind.
I loved the lime accents on the table.
Congrats

I have these bags and they are perfect and easy for travel!
I used paint and designed the outside with puff paint - they had palm trees and it said Cabo 08
Very festive...
I used the pink one for a little girl that is coming to our wedding and we have 5 little boys so I made them their own personallized bags with their names on them.
If you can get a Michaels coupon they are an even better deail... I got 25% off my entire order - we were able to fill ours with tylenol, dramamine, koozies, customized condoms, for the kids - coloring books, crayons, floaties, candy, toys snacks...
they are perfect!

Ok so I hope I am posting this in the right place and i hope this has not been posted already. I sent out a basic email to my guests making them aware of their cell phone options and roaming plans that are available in hopes noone gets surprised with high phone bills after the wedding.
I think this is helpful, general information that can help your guests plan and prepare.
Of course you can change the fonts, colors and formats in your email to make it look a lot nicer.
Att formerly Cingular: You can call them dialing 611 from your cell phone or by dialing 800-331-0500. Simply call an add the World traveler plan for $5.99 per month (they are also able to have the feature start and end on the dates you requested and you will only see a prorated charge for the days you have it. I would suggest adding it 1 day before you leave and leaving it on for at least 2 days after you plan on leaving just in case you were to be delayed in Mexico. This plan allows you to use your phone as you normally would, you will still incur a roaming charge but it will be .59 instead of .99 per minute, minutes will be deducted as usual. Text messages are below and also depend on the current text/data plan you already have-
Blackberrry charges can add up pretty quick - it is suggested not to use Blackberry Internet - you can keep your phone in airplane mode or turn of your wireless feature for this.
Sending Text, Picture, and Video Messages when outside the U.S.
Text Messages $0.50 per message sent
Picture and Video Messages $1.30 per message sent
Wireless, DSL Internet, satellite TV Services and Phone | AT&T
Sprint: You can call them directly 888-211-4727. You may want to confirm, but from what I understand, they have a flat per minute rate of .99 for voice calling and .20 per text message while in Mexico - there are additional text messaging plans you can add for example, 1000 text messages for $10 per month or unlimited text messages for $15 per month - call to make sure your phone is compatible and has the international dialing feature turned on
Cell Phones, Mobile Phones, and Wireless Calling Plans from Sprint
Verizon: You can call them dialing 611 from your cell phone or by calling 800-922-0204 . Verizon has a flat rate roaming charge of .99 per minute when using your phone while roaming in Mexico. Please call to make sure your phone has the international dialing feature turned on. For text messaging:
While traveling outside the U.S., the text messaging rates are:
$0.50/address sent
$0.05/message received
Cell Phones, Cell Phone Plans, Cell Phone Accessories - Verizon Wireless
T-Mobile: You can contact them using 611 from your wireless phone or by calling 800-937-8997. You want to first Call and activate WorldClass service. Charges will be $1.49 per minute - call to be sure there are no other discounted plans you can add to relieve some of these charges.
Voice rate*: $1.49
Text messaging rate
(per message)*:
$0.35 sent, $0.15 received (or pulled from feature bucket)
Internet(GPRS) rate*: $0.01 per KB in Canada
$0.0150 per KB in all other countries

I am so glad I did it - he never gets sick and is super healthy - losing weight quicker is a great selfish perk too! -
That sounds like so much fun! I cant believe I will be in the same place in 3 weeks.
I wish you the best and hope everything goes smooth.
Have a great time!

Cool pics - thanks for sharing. I remember putting Far Behind on repeat and singing it over and over again when that CD came out.
That guys eye had to hurt.

What a story! I am rather new to the forum and have seen pictures from some of your previous posts but never knew the history. I am glad everything worked out the way it did and I have to say to be born 5 lbs that early is amazing some babies are that small full term, she is so healthy!
She is beautiful and has the perfect amount of hair!
Congratulations to you and your family, being a mommy is the best feeling in the world.

If you were having your wedding in California instead of at a Destinationwould you pay for their travel? They would have to pay to fly out to California anyways so flying to Cabo is not that much more expensive.
Sure they have to invest in a passport but I had guests fly from New Jersey with 7 night stays for around $850 - depending on how early they can purchase their tickets I dont think rates would be that much different from Maryland.
-
this is so useful! thanks for sharing - we are doing some of our prepacking this weekend just to have as much done as possible -yay!
-
That is a great idea, very sentimental!

I feel bad for your mom and dad - I hate to say it but it sounds like the dreaded daughter in law. I hope your brother starts standing up to her about his side of the family. Especially after your mother was so involved with the baby shower and everything. I have a 9 month old and was excited to introduce my son to both of our parents - there are always days that I would have preferred my soon to be mil to not give me advice but her intentions were well and I just let it go.
I hope it gets better - maybe you or your mom should have a talk with your brother alone about it.
good luck and congrats on becoming an aunt!

I like the flowers too but decided on an orchid. I felt like the lily's I played around with were too big for me.
I have no idea why I thought that... -

I think this weather will make Mexico feel cool... I have been doing a Bridal Bootcamp in the evenings and this heat is almost too much to handle!

Thanks for the feedback! -
Sorry I dont have any help there but seeing Vero beach brought back memories - I used to live in Florida and would drive there a lot on the weekends. I miss weekend beach trips
-
I love you hair like that if you can withstand the weather, I have the same idea in mind - where did you get those flowers? They are perfect!

Ok I lack creativity but I want to save money on the actual bag for my OOT so I can put more inside-
I found these canvas bags at Micheals for $1.29 and they had a 25% off sale on top of that so I just bought some tulip paints and here we are...
I added my own little touch and wanted feedback and suggestions before I do the rest of them - these were the first ones so they are a little sloppy but i hope to get better once I do 50 of them - the palm tree is missing its trunk... I still have to get brown paint
