Oops this is not me. I found her on a photobook album of hairstyles here:

I like the flowers too but decided on an orchid. I felt like the lily's I played around with were too big for me.

LOL! I thought to myself "wow she is really getting ready for her wedding, doing her hair and getting in her dress"

I have no idea why I thought that...rofl.gif

If you're getting married at Gazebo 55, wear your hair up. It's at the very end of the resort and seems to get all of the trade winds. I had only a couple very small strands down, and they were everywhere! But I got some cute photos with DH tucking them behind my ears for me.

I have the "Monica Hair" when I get into humidity. I had a trial run with a professional hairdresser so that my MOH could learn how to do my hair since we couldn't hire anyone. We had originally done the trial to have my hair all up and I would decide if I wanted to leave it down or put it up once I got there and felt how hot and windy it would be. We decided to leave it down because of time and my MOH was having heck trying to get it to look right up. The hairdresser told me to use White Sands Medium Hold Liquid Texture. Its a heat activated hairspry. We had to buy it from her but it was amazing. It was fantastic and I didn't feel like my hair weighed a ton. It was not that windy on the beach but was VERY windy on the sailboat ride back. My hair didn't get frizzy or blow all over the place. It moved, it wasn't like my hair was stone. It was super humid too.

Plan for both and see how everything goes the first couple of days you are there then decide. So to answer your question...YES I would wear my hair down again.

So glad you sent that page...I've been having the hair dilemma as well, and that's the best page I've seen for long hairstyles. Thanks!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
