Hi all, My name is Kaki and my guy proposed to me in the middle of our kitchen 2 and a half weeks ago. It was SHOCKING (you can read about the whole thing here:The Crayfish Diaries: Rude News & Ill Thinking ) and I cried for a full 10 minutes (I obviously don't handle shock well). We've been together for a little over 2 years since meeting in Japan on a teaching ESL programme. I'm from Montreal, he's from Scotland and we live in the middle of England now. We figure we wouldn't make one family happy over another, so we're looking at getting married in Mexico next summer. I'm excited, apprehensive and thinking way too much. I love this forum and hope to get as much information from all of you to make a decision sooner rather than later.
