I was at a the Alexandra, a couple of resorts down the beach from Beaches in October.  We rented a car one day and we drove to Da Conch Shack.  I'm guessing you could take a taxi but in general we found taxi's to be fairly pricey as they charge per person, per trip. It cost us about $100 to rent a car for 24 hours (we needed a car big enough for four adults and four sets of golf clubs).  Some nights it cost us $100 in taxi's to and from restaurants.  We met people who had rented a small car for the week for $250 so if we went again that is what we would do.

Hi, our family went to this resort for Christmas and I just checked and I don't have a map, however, they do give you a map when you check in.  I did find this one for you online http://debbiesreviews.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cubageneral&action=display&thread=17857  although you have to be a member to download it.

Wow!  To pull off two unique ceremonies on the same day took some major organizational skills!  You must have had major luggage!  I love the colours of the Indian/Hindu wedding.  I also loved your dress for the Catholic ceremony.  It certainly looked like a great wedding week.  Congratulations and good luck!

Oh my goodness! My condolences to you and your family!

A friend of mine gave out disposable camera's to a number of guests for her second wedding about five years ago. One of the camera's only contained 'clevage' shots of many of the ladies at the wedding. She laughed about it but this is the kind of thing that happens when you give guests camera's and alcohol
