My fear stems from the fact that on my last trip my fiancée and I forgot to check the expiry on his passport and when we got to the airport to depart his had expired. We couldn’t depart on our dream trip and now I am petrified that I am forgetting something important.

Well I will add to the health care thing. I am an ER nurse in Toronto. I hate my schedule too and would also love to have a different career.

2. A week Angela I am still awaiting to ensure my stuff got there. Waiting for Chandlyn to email me back and confirm.

See I have a pair of C's which still don't fit. LOL. I am also looking for some lingerie. I want something white. Can't find anything. LaSenza says they get stuff in April and that's it. Poop! I will keep looking.

Ok so the dress...I got it at store in Mississauga cause it was the cheepest. The only thing is that it would take me 40 min in the winter to drive there, which I really hate doing. So I went to another store where I had tried my dress on. I dont need much done. The only thing is my boobs aren't big enough for my dress. They wanted to charge me $100 for the bustle (?sp). I said screw that. So I just need my boobs kept in and I am good. It doesn't stress me the fact that I have to go for fittings, etc. It is just that they have been changing my appointment. I am also worries she will make it look like crap. Anyway my dress is there. I will wait it out and if they screw it up I will just take one of the other dress off the rack, one thats more expensive

Oh you aren't driving me nuts. I am getting super duper excited. I just want it to be January. I think this is the first year where I am not that excited about Christmas. I am not nervous at all. Is anyone else? I feel like I could be forgetting to do something huge. I am one of those anal list people so if it isn't there I will forget to it.

As for this dress fitting business - I HATE IT. I took my dress to a different store than where I bought it and the women are driving me crazy. The seamstress is on vacation until end of December and then they are closed for Christmas. They keep calling and changing my fitting. I am getting pissed off. I am about to go bridzilla on them.

p.s. I only have one dress

I am out until after the wedding. Too much stuff with work, bach parties, christmas, dress fittings, etc.

They sometimes use carnations, I am not sure about the orchid.

I made emailed Tai Flowers with a picture of the flowers I wanted and requested a quote. She then answered all my questions for my arrangement. She gets Chandlyn to deal with the money so I didn't pay any deposits. They will be delivered at 1pm to the front desk (my wedding is at 3)

I have sent you the brochure. I included the brochure for arches too.

I have looked and I can't find the email. I think I may have deleated it.

Thank you very much for your review. I really appreciate an honest review. I am sorry about the rain and all the negative experiences. It must be frustrating to be planning for over a year to not to have it go as plannned.

I did the exact same as chicklet. Acutally she did the same as me cause she is a copy cat. She even copied my wedding date

 

I asked my 10 special people if two weeks in January were good for them. We then set our ideas of the date to a Wednesday or Thursday. When the dates came open on Riu's website I requested and got my first choice. I then let everyone know what day it would be and the approx. travel days. I contacted my travel agent and she was able to use the 3 month grace period to get us a group quote. Those 10 people then booked, including us and that confirmed our group. We then just opened it up to anyone else to book.

 

It was lucky for us that Riu didn't open the wedding bookings until about 10 months before and Sunquest was even later for the group rate at about 8 months. It worked out well.

Hello All,

 

I was going through my budget and I had a thought. When I reserved my wedding time/date with ROR I had to put a deposit down with my credit card. Silly me didn't pay attention whether they actually billed my card or whether they are just holding it in case we don't show up.

 

Did anyone else notice they got charged for this? If you were charged did you get a receipt? Did they take this off your bill when you got there?
