I was referred to BDW by my sister, JENGONDA9, who apparently got a lot of great advice from everyone on this forum and she had a beautiful destination wedding at Cabo back in January.
Anyhow, I am here as a vendor since I am not planning to get married yet. Jen suggested I get familiar with the BDW community and I intend to!
Actually, my idea has been in the works on and off for several years, and I do believe it is still of great value in the wedding community. I believe honeymoon registries are still charging too much for their service and there are often too many strings attached, i.e. travel arrangements, hidden fees to guests, not accepting credit cards as payment, etc, etc..
We are starting our service at a 6% flat fee and I make the following pledge:
If I deem it possible for us to reduce our service fee in the future, I plan on doing so.
Please stop by and visit us if you have a chance. The service is up, running and fully functional. We already have several features that set us apart from the other registries and we will continue to improve our service in the up and coming months and years. Personally, I have an extensive background in I.T. and banking.
