Hi Everyone,

I tried to go through some of the videographer posts and I'm still having a tough time with this. I need some help finding someone! I honestly don't want to spend more than $2,000 and for at least 8 hours. Am I even going to find this? It looks like the answer is a no. I can't believe that everything regarding photography and video is so much more expensive than in the states. I'm tempted to just see if I can fly someone down and pay for their stay and have them do it. It might be cheaper if I can find someone who would just do it as a vacation. hahaha Who am I kidding? I'm sure they would want to get paid on top of all that. Does anyone have any ideas besides bringing my own camcorder down and having family do it. hahahhaa I really don't want to do that. Any help would be very appreciated!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!

This sounds so fun and I would totally be up for it but I'm a little confused because I have never heard of this before. I already own an ipod video but it is the big one-not the nano. Do I need to buy a nano along with this program Or if I have that do you recomend me buying the other thing-the Nike + sportband? That doesn't give me the other stuff though that I hear right? Sorry if this is too many questions.

I meant to reply about my Filene's trip. Mine was not succesful You do have to get there early but honestly if you come a little later once people start giving back dresses you are fine too! I have been extremly picky and could not figure out what I want. I have been to literally 10 places and probably tried on 200 dresses.So I left empty handed and VERY sad. But thankfully that following Monday I went out and found a dress!!!!! Randomly on a trip I thought was going to be a waste!!!!

Those were great reviews!! When I did my site visit I originally thought I wanted Azul and it was WAY TOO QUIET as you said! We actually ended up choosing in the town of Playa because everything was just a little too quiet for our crazy crew!!

Hi everyone! I'm actually getting married at the beach club next to the Royal but all of our guests are staying in all of their hotels. I have a question about rehearsal dinners. Do any of you Royal brides have any advice on this? I'm wondering if I should just do drinks and apps or a full dinner? Any advice would be great! And for those of you who have not been there in person-it is GORGEOUS!!!! Seriously to die for! I was just dead set on this beach club for our wedding but I'm excited to stay there and have our rehearsal dinner there!

We are doing just a bbq welcome home reception a few months after the wedding. My question is where do I put this information? Do I invite everyone and include it in the invite that we will be having a party once we get home for anyone who can't make it? We just know a lot of our family can't come because they can't afford it and want to have just a little something so they can look at pictures and videos, etc. Obviously we will send a real invitation to this but I want to put it somewhere so people don't feel obligated to come to the destination. :)Should I put it on my website? Any suggestions would be great!!! Thank you!

I went down to Playa last weekend and she helped me so much and drove us to all these places and still hasn't been paid. She is amazing and I would be shocked if our wedding didn't go well. Does anyone know what other hotels are near it? I already have a few complaints about people who wouldn't want to share rooms. So I would need another option for them!

I really have no idea b/c I have never done one before. It seems kind of pricey to me? What do you think? I am also talking to Cabo Surf-they seem very willing to work with me.

Really? Does it drop it a lot? They also said the prices go up 8% a year and by the time we can do this it will be 2009. Do you think I could do 100 guests there for $25k? You can be honest-I'm not going to get upset. haha!

Hi all!

I am desperate! I found the location of my dreams-the Sheraton and got the prices back and they are so expensive(well for me and the fiance-we are 25/26 paying for our whole wedding). I wanted to seriously just sit and cry . Does anyone know of a nice location that isn't outrageous in price? We have about 100 people coming-will probably be smaller but that is what I've been going off of and we want to spend about $25,000. Is this even enough? I would much rather spend my money on a great photographer because I'm really into photos and spending $75 on a domestic 3 hour open bar to me seems like an absolute waste. We are willing to spend about $100 for alcohol and dinner pp although I would actually like to keep it a little less so I can do other things for the guests. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would love any help!!!!!!!!!!!!
