  1. Hello All,

I really need some advice. How did you all decide on a resort and just stuck with it? I have confirmed Moon Palace, but I cannot help wondering if I should pick something different. Everyday I am online trying to look at other resorts and really second guessing myself. I have gotten to the point where I had to go to the doctor because I am making myself sick. This is such an important time of my life, and I really just want to ensure that it will definitely be the wedding of my dreams.

  2. Hello there,

Congratulations and welcome!!!!!!!!! I am getting married at the Moon Palace on August 2, 2008 and I am very excited and nervous as well. Maybe we can exchange information and help each other get through.

  3. The most important part is getting married, so do not cancel. Go, smile, and enjoy yourself. Not getting in the water may be upsetting, but not getting married will definitely be worse. Plus, your guests that are coming have spent money and probably taken vacation time from work, and to cancel because of the inability to get in the water, would totally not be fair. Not even thinking about how your groom may feel.

  4. I am trying to keep my guests price as cheap as possible for a great time. I am hoping to find an area where we can stay and have fun for around $900. But the most important thing is to pick a beautiful spot for my wedding. I am sure that they will have fun where ever we go, but I only have one shot for a beautiful wedding location. Do anyone have pictures of the resort that they have chosen or group rates that they could share with me?

  5. Hello All,

I am having such a difficult time trying to decide between Punta Cana and Mexico (Cancun or Cabos). I have not visited either location, so I am strictly going by opinions of others. This process is getting me frustrated because both areas look beautiful.

I am looking for an AI resort that is ideal for kids, elderly, as well as young adults because I have such a variety of age groups attending. I also want a resort that is within walking distance of the ocean, although a pool is great, I want to experience the ocean.

If anyone can give me any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Thanks for everyone's help. I am definitely checking on the resorts that were recommended. Once you pick your resort, does everything seem to flow easier or is this just step 1?

  7. I am definitely wanting an outdoor ceremony either beachfront or just a beautiful tropical gazebo area. I was looking at Cancun because of the nightlife but I am open to any area as long as my wedding is a dream come true.

  8. I am a newbie who is very excited about being a part of this forum. I am in need of help and after reading some postings, I definitely know that I have come to the right place.

I recently became engaged on Valentine's Day and looking to getting married in June of 2008 in Mexico. My biggest issue is finding an AI resort that kids and adults would enjoy. I was looking at the Occidental Grand Xcaret, but I read mixed reviews on Tripadvisor that was quite discouraging.

Please if anyone know of a place that would be affordable (< 600 pp for 4days/3nights) please assist me. I am trying to keep the entire vacation around 1000 pp including airfare.

Thanks so much for all of your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
