As for the ring I might just go in and buy whatever is there. But in some cases it might be cheaper to get it custom made. I'll be sure to post pictures.
I am not sure what your looking in spending.. but I went to Cathy's jewellery store in Fairview mall.. and they always have a 70% discount.. might be something you want to check out..
We spent for instance $120 on the FI ring that was originally $700 smile159.gif

I think they may even have one in laval mall.. carefour? I know it's not how you spell it.. sorry! I'm the west islander lol wink.gif

If it's the one I'm thinking about, then I did go there years ago to buy my e-ring from my previous wedding, and it broke (one of the claws holding the diamond opened and the diamond fell). So I'm a little worried about going back there, or any other mall jewelry store. worried2.gif

I'm also quite scared of mall jewellery shops, specially for my own diamond ring. I didn't want to get ripped off on a low quality diamond. For a simple band, there's less chance of a problem. Did you also tried out LSM on St-Martin blvd? They have lots of choice, and will make to order for size and such, and are open even on Sundays.

  • 3 weeks later...

Need help from my fellow Montreal brides who can speak French.

My family is all francophone, so I need to make the invitations in both languages. I want to make boarding passes invites. I remember seeing lots of cute little phrases on these, about oceans and waves and love, etc. I was wondering if any of you knew some cute beachy sayings in French? I can translate the ones I've found in English, but they don't sound as cute...

Do you mean something like this:

Un billet pour le bonheur, une destination pour le soleil dans le ciel et dans nos cœurs...

It is not completely "beachy", but very cute. I'm not quite sure what you are looking for thought, could you give me 1-2 ideas?

But he won't understand the one in French, will he? wink.gif rofl.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
