Hello everyone! So I recently got engaged to the love of my life and just started the planning. However, I haven't picked a location and I'm already stressed! He wants to tie the knot in Mexico and having that we love to party we heard Cancun is the way to go. The more I search the more indecisive I am and my options just expand. I will have a minimum of 40 people and our children present. I need a breath taking resort hopefully all inclusive. Wedding will be in October of 2018. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Agonzalez429!
As you are looking for an advice in general, i will give you my recommendations, taking in consideration just the venues for the events (ceremony, cocktail, reception, etc)
This is my top #3 list:

-Me by Melia : Currently is having a big remodeling. But by the date you are saying they must be done by then. The service and the venues are cutting edge. Easy to work with also with outside vendors. Some policies for some specific vendors. check their reviews.

-The Westin Spa Resort -  As this is the end of the hotel zone, it has a "away from crowd" feeling, it has a beautiful site on the lagoon side to be able to do ceremony with sunset happening on the back of the ceremony.

-The third option would be the facilities outside of the resorts. This can give a wide range of options of styles, for decor, and to be changing from venues on the day of event, gives an intersting feeling that things are "flowing" for all your guests, it creates a fuller experience of "D- day".

Hope this is helpful, and if you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask :)

Kind regards,

Ian Larzac

Hello. I celt just like you. We are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in Riviera Maya March 2018. We chose Riviera Maya because it'll be spring break, and although we like to party, we decided we wanted something a little more tamed for our family & friends. We are getting married at the gazebo & having our reception on the beach. Our wedding coordinator, Mariely, has been exceptional! We did lots & lots & lots of research. My advice: find a resort that meets everyone's needs (ours has 4 other sister hotels our guests can also visit under the all inclusive plan), look at wedding pics, read review's, and compare wedding packages & find what's closest to what is on your wish list. Best of luck
