  1. Contemplating having the bridal party makeup done at the spa or having a makeup artist come in from Cancun from the Ultrafemme Store (comparable to Sephora for US girls). Any suggestions on makeup applications at the spa? Also, we have 8 up do's that we need done the day of the wedding, I'm assuming they'll have another hair stylist come in?
  2. Becks- Will you give me the contact info for Carlos with Mannia? What's the difference between them and SWANK? Thank you!
  3. Hi all! Just introducing myself and welcoming advice. The FI and I are getting married 04.17.09 at the Paradisus Riviera. So far we have 33 rooms booked with 72 attending. We're doing the beach ceremony (symbolic) and reception on the terrace. We're working w/ Victor from SWANK for the DJ - expensive! I wanna do a sit down dinner, any menu suggestions? What type of OOT bags did you all give? Oh, what about centerpieces? ~Holly
  4. Hi there! So, I've been lurking around the website and finally decided to become a member to view more exciting details about our destination wedding location. My finace, Phil and I (Holly), are getting married April 17, 2009 at the Paradisus Riveria Cancun Resort. So far we have booked 33 rooms with 72 guests attending. The majority of us will be there for 4 nights, 5 days. I'm keeping it very classy, simple, and elegant. Our colors are champagne and ivory. I'm leaning toward the whitestarfish as a theme, but I don't want to over do it w/ the starfish theme. I really need help with centerpieces! I have no idea what to do. I'm thinking, candles, sand, a white shell, starfish? Any thoughts? Look forward to hearing from you all!!!! ~Holly in Jacksonville, FL
