Anyone getting married at Playa Grande- Cabo?

Hi Guys, 


Newbie here, only my second post so hopefully am doing this right. I was wondering if anyone has been married recently, or is currently planning a wedding at Playa Grande, Cabo? I am in initial planning stages of a November 2013 wedding, and looking for locations. I like the idea of this place because its close to town, yet more privacy than you would get on Mendano, and there are multiple properties within Solmar group close by that guests could choose from depending on their budgets to stay close by. Also, the pictures I have seen from weddings online look beautiful as well....however, I have had a challenge getting in touch with their wedding coordinator Rosaura Carrillo. I am ready to give up on pursuing them due to responsiveness, but figured I would check here to see if anyone has any experience with this property and if it is worth pursuing. 

 

I have information on Grand Solmar whose WC was very responsive, but they are a little bit more than we wanted to spend. I figured that Playa Grande may be a bit more reasonable, but have had challenges getting any info from them. 

 

Does anyone have pricing sheets on this property? Anyone have experiences to share, good or bad?

Hi Robin,

I am also new here and attempting to plan my wedding for October/November 2013 at the Playa Grande Cabo. I also very much like the idea of it being close to town and yet still somewhat private. I found prices online at the wedding website for Playa Grande, but it appears to be without the bar tab. Not sure if you were able to obtain anymore detailed info from anyone, but I have submitted a request to the wedding coordinator there and will post once I hear back.

 

Feel free to share info as well!

Congratulations to you! I am a newbie as well and am back and forth between a Cabo wedding or a Maui wedding. I just started looking into the Playa Grande and wanted to see if you've had a good experience so far and if you're all ready for your wedding in a month!? Can you share any info you have either via this forum or private message? Or does anyone else have anything they can share about pricing and experiences with them?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
