This review is long overdue, but due to computer problems it was put off. However, I can truly say that after almost a year that I love my photos more now than I did when I received them!

My husband and I were married at the Now Sapphire in March of 2012. For me, one of the most important aspects of wedding planning was photography, and I spent a long time researching different photographers to find someone who was the right fit. I mean, after everything is said and done, your photos are what you have left.

Once I found Del Sol, I started comparing all other photographers to them, so I realized that was who I wanted. Yes, there are cheaper options out there. But I think they are worth every penny! Their photos are beautiful and you can look up hundreds of weddings to see exactly what kind of work you can expect from them. Their customer service is excellent. I dealt with numerous people from the company before and after the wedding, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I always felt comfortable contacting them if I had any concerns or questions about the day.

On the day of the wedding Jonathan and Melissa showed up right on time, and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They were both so great, putting both my husband and I at ease and making us laugh. But they take their work seriously, rest assured. During the day, they took so many pictures I had no idea they were getting. They were everywhere, like ninjas! They were very creative with their photos, they have such a good eye for what will make a shot work. My only suggestion would be if you plan on giving a photo to your parents and in-laws, to ask them for a more traditional posed photo. I didn't think about it because I like the more creative shots, but I only found out after that the parents are not as into it for their own homes! Oops. 

We also did a Trash the Dress shoot two days after the wedding, and I highly recommend it if you can swing it. After the craziness of the wedding day, it was nice to take photos at a relaxed pace with just the two of us. My husband, who is not that keen on having his picture taken, even admitted to me after it was a lot of fun. And the pictures from the TTD are some of my favourites.

All of this to say, book Del Sol! They take beautiful, creative photos and you will not regret hiring them!
