Does anyone have any experience with wanting to book an outside vendor? I was told it would cost me $800 to bring a musician on site!

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with trying to get a musician (or any outside vendor) for your wedding. I've read many different things, but what they have quoted me as a fee is the highest I've heard. I've been told it will cost me $800 to bring on site a musician!!!!! Would love to know anyone's experiences with that?
