hi! we're getting married Aug 15 at the grande st lucian. we vacationed there 3 years ago and had the best time ever. since then we've been on 5 other vacations and when it came time to pick our destination wedding (actually we're eloping) we couldn't think of anywhere else under a 10 hr flight time that we'd even consider! what has the planning process been like for you? the resort is amazing and the staff is too but im feeling like they're falling short on reasonable options to make the day what I want it to be. I feel like EVERYTHING is either not allowed or costs extra.

Hello! I'm looking for brides that were married this year at the sandals grand st Lucian to share your experience and tips with me. I found several threads on this resort but they're all old. I'm looking for some current experiences. We stayed at this resort once before (3 yrs ago) and are in love with it! ...but I have no idea if the courtesy we've experienced as normal guests extends (and how so) to weddings there. oh, and its just us ... but even though we are eloping I'm doing a full gown thank you ladies!
