if you want a honeymoon room I would go ahead and book it. I would not bank on booking a lower rate room and depend on them upgrading you because 1)they not required to upgrade you and 2)there might not be any rooms available to upgrade. we booked a honeymoon and it was gorgeous! they did not print any menu for my private dinner because we didn't do any upgrades towards decorations but they did print a menu for the free reception we got that we used for our rehearsal dinner the night before

we brought our own sheers and the crystal curtain down there with us. we had a photo of they way we wanted the sheer and they duplicated it exactly! they coordinator down there (Bernice was excellent!) met with us and went over all the details with us. she tied the parasol to the chairs and then untied them after the ceremony so we can take pics with them.

I just went to the spa to get ready and then went back to my room to dress, didn't want to pay for bridal suite rental. no touch up during day but the makeup lasted pretty much entire time on Friday and Saturday. Saturday it was applied at 11am. I had my own lip gloss that I applied throughout day

I just had my wedding this past weekend. I used the spa there for hair and makeup. I bought a picture of the hair updo I wanted and they did good job recreating it. I used Angeles for my hair and makeup, she did the trial the day before and was very nice and was even better the day of. find her to do it! she's good.

everyone has to do their wedding planning through the coordinators in Miami. you don't get to work with coordinators at the hotel until you get there. the Miami coordinators can be frustrating at time with communication but you will be fine. after they did their reorganization where you work with a team rather than knd individual it was much better

@@AllieH thanks for the reassurance. we getting married december 6 and the weather is the only thing that is stressing me out because we have no control over that. crossing fingers for good weather.

does anyone know if the weather stops raining in November. I heard November is end of hurricane season but looks like the forecast predict it to rain into december. we getting married next months and I'm so scared it's gonna rain and ruin our outdoor events

did any past brides who had photographers fly in from their hometown have any problems? if yes any details on what the problems the photographers encountered?
