  1. Hey! I paid for the fire dancers for my wedding. I had them perform after my reception ended on the terrace - at 10:00 pm (I added an extra hour onto my reception). They performed from 10:00-10:25pm in the large grassy mall area, and they designated this the garden fountain area. However, my wedding was in February. This was the latest it could go because of the noise ordinance that the events outside need to end by 10:30pm. I think what she probably meant is you cannot have a fire pit on the beach - I don't know if that is allowed on any of the resort owned beaches in Mexico. FYI - I paid for the fire dancers for after the wedding, but half of the resort showed up as they performed; it is not private. The resort also had them scheduled during their weekly night activities for free (I think it was around 8:30pm). Cost: 35 minutes - $950 + tax ; 45 minutes - $1250? + tax AND the price changed 3 times, it was first $850, then $900, and I paid $950.
  2. Emma - this is the only way I could find to post pictures. I have more if you want more....
  3. I had 52 people on the terrace, and it wasn't tight at all. I used long rectangular tables - end to end. I absolutely agree with you! I think by not inviting everyone to the reception dinner, especially for a destination wedding, there seems to be a big component of etiquette missing. The people who are committing to going to your wedding (financially and travel time), likely except a dinner, and rightfully so.
