Hey everyone my name is Ashley and I am a July 2014 Moon Palace Bride! My fiancée and I were lucky enough to visit the Moon Palace last summer and its amazing! Great food, people, amenities etc....I will say that communication is quite slow at this point but my wedding coordinator said that 3 weeks prior is when it really gets down to it. I know what I want and what vendors I am working with. I am having my ceremony and reception on the beach by the Moon Grand part of the resort. We are working with Abi from Gama for our tent setup on the beach and we are going to go with the pure package for our ceremony. If you haven't done so, look over the Colin Cowell collections, they are beautiful. We all know budget is big when it comes to this stuff, but I am finding that I really will not know our exact budget until we know how many guests are coming. My coordinator from here in New York at landmarkdestinationweddings.com has reserved 25 rooms and they are all booked up....the save the dates gave us an idea of about how many people are coming, once our response cards come back we will be able to really know how to go about our reception set up as far as tables, food, etc...don't stress everything will fall into place. My fiancee and I are from NY, the place where anything is possible as far as a weddings are concerned, but at a cost $$$$$$$, we are trying to bring a little bit of our NY attitude and flair to our reception out there in Cancun and thus far all our vendors have met our expectations. It may seem stressful because everything is via email and they are not very quick to answer but keep in mind they are busy and about 3 weeks before will be nitty gritty time!
