Hello fellow DW Brides I have been planning my DW for almost a year and have only just now found this site! I have been on weddingbee.com but feel this would definitely be a site best suited for me. Finding it hard to navigate though! I have only been in contact with my on-site coordinator for a month (long story) and she seems great... but I have been the one leading all the conversations and i'm afraid that i'm forgetting something. Here is my TO DO list (some of which has already been done thankfully) This will be a fairly long post so I GREATLY appreciate those of you that stick with it and offer advice/tips The wedding will take place in Samana, DR at the Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo resort in January Outfits: - Bride attire (ring, dress, shoes, barefoot sandals, jewelry, hair accessories, hair/makeup) - Groom attire (ring, suit, shirt, sandals, belt, cuflings) - Bridesmaids dresses - Grooms shirt/pant Dinner Reception (private): - confirm location and time - confirm menu, alcohol, sound system - make song playlist - ask friend to MC / make notes - seating plan with place cards - tea lights and other decor - guest book and card box - guest favours - ty speech (ask parents, moh and bm to make speeches) Ceremony: - confirm location and time - book package - go to lawyer in Canada (having a legal ceremony) - sand ceremony - poem - flowers for party and parents - playlist Other: - gifts for bridal party, parents and photographers - renew passports - special fun packages for guests on plane That's it. We are also having an AHR but i think i have that pretty much covered. Am i missing anything? Anyone have a to do list they can share?
