Hello Everyone!! I'm new to this board and have been working on gathering some information for my destination wedding. My fiance and I are planning on getting married in June of 2015 in Oahu, HI and would prefer to have the wedding somewhere on the North Shore. I am interested in finding a wedding planner who would be able to help with some of the planning details. Does anyone have any advice as to who might be a great planner to work with from there?? Any information or guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

My fiance and I are looking at doing a destination wedding in Hawaii. We recently heard from a couple that Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu is a great place to look. They told us that they had stayed there for a vacation once and saw a few weddings being hosted there. This is located on Oahu's North Shore -- so it's a little more secluded and not quite so busy as other areas of the island. We had originally been thinking maybe Maui or Kauai, but have been open to all suggestions. Has anyone ever been to or actually had their wedding at this resort, or on this island?? Is there anyone who could give me some good information as far as set up, reviews, overall costs for about 35 guests? I am interested in any information I can get! Thank you all so much in advance!!

My fiance and I have decided that we would like to have a small destination wedding -- mostly immediate family -- in Hawaii! Now, I have been there a few times in the past, but it's been several years, and I would love to get opinions on the best locations/resorts for a small wedding! There will be no more than 30 guests, and we would like it as close to the beach as possible. I am aware that they do not allow chairs or tables actually ON the beaches in Hawaii, and we would like our guests to be able to sit, but still have the ocean view in the background. We are leaning more towards Maui, but we're open to suggestions on any island! Does anyone have any tips/suggestions/info on locations/venues/specific island for a Hawaiian wedding?
