  1. Hello, hubbie to be here. We are all booked and ready to go for our April 17th wedding at the Ocean Turquesa, my question is, has anyone dealt with them and more specifically the sound system provided for both the wedding and reception. I am worried that MP3 won't work or burnt cd's. I have ask our coordinator and she said to try it before to make sure, I need to know ahead of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Pierre
  2. Hi I am very surprised at the comments about slow response, I emailed Claudia at Ocean Turquesa this morning and already received a response, last time it took 2 days. I am very confident with them, although the photographer website does not list any prices, only packages and that bugs me. Best of luck Pierre
  3. HI Eilies OD, I emailed 2 weeks ago and got nothing so I went to Barcelo Maya Beach and they replied the same day with the info I needed and it meets all of our needs but a bit more expensive but I would rather pay than be ignored. Good Luck P
  4. Hi, 6 of us are traveling to the Riviera Maya and are inquiring about a shuttle to/from Grand Bahia Principe Tulum and Cancun Airport, I looked at Best Day and was quoted $420 which is NUTS, does anyone have any idea? Since we are flying in in Aeroplan points, we are not part of a package deal. Any info would help. Thanks Pierre
  5. Hello Jill and Liz, Thanks so much for the info, we do have a travel agent that we will use but I want to have a firm plan first so I can budget accordingly. I will also look up the Royal Golden section at the Akumal as well as the Grand Palladium and Liz, if you are okay with it, I will kind of follow your posts as well to see how your wedding went. Again, thanks to both of you, looking forward to to exchanging ideas or anything. Thanks Pierre
  6. Hello, This is a change I am sure as I am the husband to be and planning the wedding and I do not want to mess this up so any help or tips I can get, I will soak it up. I am thinking of getting married at the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum and wanted to get any tips or ideas from anyone who may know anything. Of course my partner Dayna will decide with me but I will do the leg work. We need a place where kids are allowed, not a party place but still fun and Grand Bahia Principe Tulum seems to have it all. The place looks great and the feedback is good, not a fan of the distance from the airport but not a big deal. We are getting married in May 2014 so I am looking at booking now. We will have a bilingual wedding as my family (and I) is French-Canadian and Dayna's is English-Canadian so I have to keep that in mind. I would appreciate any help, keep in mind I am a guy, lol, so what might seem normal to most is not natural to 'us'. Thanks and looking forward to it. Pierre
