Has anyone here rented a private catamaran for their wedding guests to go on? We're looking for a catamaran for approximately 70 guests to go on the day before our wedding. Some type of booze cruise/catamaran.

I've been working for Claudia and she has been great at responding. Keep your emails short and simple and she'll respond within 2-3 days. I typically get her emails late at night. I've concluded that if you ask 2-3 questions in an email to her that you'll get a response rather than if your email has 10 questions. just a tip

When you work with her do you work with Tere as well? On my emails with Claudia, Tere is copied on it, and Tere responds to me and says for me to make sure she is copied on all the emails. So i'm not sure what role she plays.

Has anyone worked with Claudia as their WC? If so did you work with Claudia and Tere???

Previous Brides- Did you use a travel agent to book your hotel and airfare? Or did you just have everyone book their own? I have contacted a travel agent and it seems like I can find prices thru expedia/orbitz to be cheaper than the rate that the travel agent has given. Even though the rate that the travel agent is giving is the "group rate" I don't see the perks of the group rate if it is more expensive than booking it thru expedia or orbitz. With that said, did any previous brides get a group rate for hotel rooms directly from the hotel? If so, please let me know how I can do that as well. Thanks ladies!!

Hi Congrats to you! I am currently debating between these two resorts as well!! I got an email from Barcelo Maya Beach, but I'm not sure if that is the same as Barcelo Maya PALACE (which is where i want my wedding at). I know that there are 5 Barcelo resorts, but does anyone know if it is just ONE wedding coordinator for all 5 Barcelo hotels? I fell in love w/ Barcelo Maya Palace and then later came across NOW Jade and cant decide. Let me know which one you ended up picking (if you did already) and what made you pick that one vs the other!! Thanks

Hi all, I am a newbie to this site!! I am planning my destination wedding to be in the Riviera Maya / Playa del Carmen area. What is the best way you suggest to contact the resorts? Email? Call? I have sent a few emails and the response time is taking a while. Or I am just anxious to hear back and it feels like its taking longer. I want to nail down the resort ASAP so I can start planning the fun things!!! Any tips or suggestions you have, please send it my way!! Thanks!

Hi ladies, I am new to this thread. I am planning my destination wedding and just came across this resort! I am in love with it!!! Did it take you all a long time to get a response after submitting the request thru the barcelo wedding website? I am anxiously waiting to hear back to see if they have my date open!! Do you have to put a deposit down to hold that date? If so, how much is the deposit? Looking forward to hear back from you all!!! Thanks!!!
