Hi, I am getting married in Cabo @ Barcelo in January of 2013... My date is on hold but I have not put down my deposit yet, I was planning on sending out my save the dates within the next couple weeks to make sure my guests have enough time to save. The problem is that I am looking at the prices to go to Cabo that time of year and the prices right now are EXTREMELY expensive (double to any price that I saw while doing reserach in 2012). I have a TA and she says that the prices will go down and it is just too far in advance to book the trip, but I am scared to send out the save the dates because I know that my guests, even my parents would find that price way too expensive. I dont want to send out the save the dates and then have to change the date to the Cabo "off-season" so it is a litte cheaper to please everyones wallets. In anyone elses experience planning a destination wedding have you run into this, and how did you handle it? I am torn and it is causing stress and doubt about having my dream Cabo wedding. Hi! Congrats on your wedding at Melia! I am hoping to also get married at Melia in Dec. 2013, but I am having trouble getting information on all the packages and their wedding website seems a little dated.
