Hi Ladies- my wedding is on 11/02/13 and i noticed some of you who are getting married 2014 already talking about the things that you have picked?!? I haven't picked anything and have only been in touch with Ana who has pretty much just taken my payments. I did get Ivan Luckie as my outside photographer. But I haven't picked a DJ, flowers, menu, etc. I am going to use most of what is offered by the hotel but not sure if I should have already started picking that stuff. HELP! Am I supposed to just wait till they contact me after the final payment is made?!?!? ~Distressed Bride

Ok- so I am freaking out a little. Our wedding is set for 11/2/13. I haven't started contacting outside vendors at all yet. I was curious how far in advance you guys started lining up the DJ, florists, and photographers? Any suggestions?

Hi Ladies- Also new to the thread and planning a date of 11/02/13 at the Gran Caribe. I am having a really hard time deciding which resort to book for our actual stay. The Royal looks amazing but we have 1 child that will be 14 at the time of the wedding and I just can't imagine asking one family to stay at a seperate hotel!! Help, I have read mixed reviews on the actual stay (rooms, amenities, etc.) at the Gran Caribe versus the Royal. Any feedback on the hotel itself!!

I am in the very early stages of planning my November 2013 wedding in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area. I live in Dallas and found Legacy Travel Agency locally and have an appointment next week. They seem to have terrible reviews. Does any one have a recommendation on an agency to contact or if it's better to plan it all direct with the resort! HELP- I am lost an overwhelmed already!! ~Shelby
