  1. Hi Ladies! Thanks for your input! My WC said they can arrange 2 dinner options for me. Now just wondering if there is an extra charge for that (waiting for her response). It sounds like it really needs to be planned out on who will be having what since there is no last minute changes. On my RSVP card, I am including the menu choice of beef or fish and each guest has to initial what they want. I was going to do a seating chart and have guests sit any where in the table but now I guess I will have to assign an actual seat for each person at the table. I'm getting married in July and haven't sent my invitations out. Once I get a better idea on how many guests are actually coming I might even switch to the Strawberry Passion package. WOW!! Thanks for sharing, your pictures look awesome! Looks like you had one heck of a wedding! My wedding is in July and just a handful have booked. I get a bit discouraged thinking not a lot of people will come and maybe I should have had a wedding at home instead but then I saw your pictures and thought I made the right desicion!!
  2. Hello Ladies, I am having a hard time deciding on the menu options. I'm a bit upset that we can only choose one main course! What if some of my guest don't eat beef or others don't eat fish! Am I the only one who thinks they should have at least the option to pick from 2 main dishes? What did you go with for your main dish with the mint breeze package? Any input will be appreciated!
  3. Hello Ladies, Still trying to get use to this new format (not liking it so far). I'm getting married in July at the Palace and I'm now on Step 2 of the planning. I received the menu options for the Mint Breeze. SOOOOO we only get ONE choice for the main course????? This blows!! I thought my guests would have an option of at least 2 main courses to pick from!

    I'm Torn!

Hello Everyone! My fiancé and I got engaged about a month ago and although we don't plan to get married in 2014 I can't help but to start doing my research. The dilemma: the beach is very important to him. He wants crystal clear blue water and white sand. We went to a wedding in Punta Cana a year ago and fell in love with the beach, therefore he would love to get married in Punta Cana. I on the other hand don't want Punta Cana. I have been to 2 weddings there and would want to go somewhere I have never been. My choice would be Mexico but I have been looking at tons of pictures of the beach and it just doesn't look attractive. Please help! I don't know what to do. I would want to get married in a place we both LOVE! -Lorraine
  5. Hello All!! My name is Lorraine and I just got engaged on 5/28/12. I am soo happy and excited to start the journey of planning a wedding! My FI and I knew even before we got engaged that we wanted a destination wedding. I am so excited in the planning process that I already feel I am way ahead of myself that I already know we want be married July 2014 somewhere in Mexico. This site has been so helpful that I THOUGHT I already knew what resort I wanted to get married in. In looking through reviews and pictures I fell in love with the Moon Palace in Cancun. HOWEVER, what the beach looks like is very important to us and looking through more and more pictures of the MP, we noticed there is a lot of seaweed/grass and the water is not that pretty. So my first of many questions to come is, What all-inclusive resorts in Mexico have the best beaches with crystal clear blue water and little to NOO seaweed/grass? Thank you sooo much and I look forward in hearing all your suggestions and ideas. Sincerely, A very excited Bride-to-be!
