Tab 2013

Hello I am getting married in Maui in September 2013. We chose to have just a small beach wedding. We are going through Destinationweddings.com and they are doing all the planning for us. We are staying at the Royal Lahaina Resort. I am now skeptical because a friend told me the Maui shuts down after 9pm and there is nothing to do. My first choice was Oahu, but I chose Maui. Any advice or suggestions? Does Maui really get quiet after 9pm?
