i've just came back from Riu and I loved it. I even met with wedding coordinator who gave me a tour. So, the beach has a voulcanic sand,so it is not white rather brownish. the beach ceremony is set up between two trees. the reception is in one of the three restaurants they have, so it may means you will be sharing it with other guests. She told me I could paid extra and have a private reception at their conference centre, but i dont know how much. She told me all info is on riu website but i didnt find pricing for upgrates. I think hotel handels decorations. hope that helps
